Easter

We boiled a million eggs and still we only got 5 each to color. The big kids (Leda, Julia, Helen, Brian, Nathan and Stevens) got their own eggs. Really, Lorien and Vanessa were the only little kids.
Jimmy and I put together the Easter baskets. We had forgotten to bring ours, so we had to use gimoungous baskets. It looked like there wasn't much there. Church started at 9:00am, so we had to wake up early. I voted for doing Easter after Church, but no-one else (Jimmy) agreed with me. So grumpy and tired, we woke up the grumpy tired kids. We went upstairs (in my dad's house) to find the eggs all over the place! The girls went on an Easter egg hunt to find them all. I made sure to count them, so we wouldn't have any rotten eggs found in July. After the eggs were found, I put the girls in their new Easter dresses (that I had slaved over till 12:00am). They looked so pretty! They had fun at church, I think Lorien did a craft. I can't remember. Anytime there's a craft, Lorien has a good time. Oh yeah! Lorien also got to go to the primary Easter activity the day before. They had an Easter Egg hunt. She also went to her friend's house (with the mini train the kids could ride) for Sarah's b-day party. It's cool that Lorien has little friends there when we visit. Then after church on Sunday the girls ate lunch and then lots of candy. Then they danced on the deck in their new dresses and we had egg hunts. Brian was really mean and hid them in the huge tufts of grass in their backyard. We lost about 3-4 eggs that day. The next day we made egg salad sandwiches and brought them to Liberty Park. We got good pics there. We were testing the area for Senior pic compatibility.
